THE TEAM
Forged in Argentina. Driven by legacy.
Our Heritage
ARGENTINE BLOOD, WORLD-CLASS POLO
Tigre Blanco was founded in 1987 on the fertile plains of Córdoba, Argentina — the heartland of world polo. What began as a family estancia tradition grew into one of the most feared names on the international circuit.
Our players are raised in the saddle. They learn the game not from textbooks but from the land itself — from the rhythm of the pampas, the temperament of the horses, and the relentless pursuit of perfection that defines Argentine polo culture.
Today, Tigre Blanco competes at the highest levels of the sport, carrying the white tiger crest into tournaments across Argentina, the United States, and Europe.
The Players
MEET THE ROSTER
Alejandro Ríos
Buenos Aires, Argentina
The most decorated player in Tigre Blanco history. Alejandro has led the team to five Argentine Open finals and is widely regarded as one of the top ten polo players in the world. His reading of the game and explosive acceleration on horseback are unmatched.
Matías Herrera
Córdoba, Argentina
A relentless attacker with an instinct for goal. Matías joined the team at 21 and quickly established himself as one of the most dangerous strikers in South American polo. His mallet work at full gallop is technically flawless.
Santiago Vidal
Mendoza, Argentina
The defensive anchor of Tigre Blanco. Santiago's long-range striking and tactical positioning have saved countless matches. Calm under pressure, he is the player opponents fear most when the game is on the line.
Nicolás Paz
Rosario, Argentina
The youngest member of the squad and already one of its most dynamic forces. Nicolás brings explosive pace and an aggressive riding style that disrupts opposing defenses. A product of the Tigre Blanco youth program, he is widely tipped as the next great Argentine polo talent.
The String
OUR HORSES
Every Tigre Blanco player rides a string of Argentine Thoroughbreds bred and trained on our Córdoba estancia. Speed, stamina, and temperament are everything — our horses are as much a part of the team as the players themselves.
"The horse is not a vehicle. He is a partner. Without him, there is no polo — only a man swinging a stick in a field."
— Alejandro Ríos, Captain
